Promotions & Volume Pricing

Build volume breaks, gift-with-purchase offers and seasonal deals as rules, not spreadsheets

Set up a volume-break table and the basket shows the dealer what the next tier is worth: add twelve more units and the unit price drops. Buy-and-get offers, free goods, extra rates on a product family and date-bounded seasonal terms all run through the same engine. Target a promotion at one dealer group and it appears only on their screens, with qualifying quantities tracked live in the cart.

Working Processes

How the process works, step by step

  1. Campaign Type

Setup starts by picking the mechanic: a volume break, free goods, a basket-level rate or a bundle.

  2. Volume Break Table

Quantity tiers and the unit price at each one go in row by row, and tiers work best when they land on a case multiple.

  3. Free-Goods Setup

Buy-three-pay-two, a gift above a spend threshold or an extra rate on the second unit are all defined on the same screen.

  4. Audience Targeting

You choose which dealer groups, which territories or which named accounts the offer opens to.

  5. Window and Quota

Start and end dates, a total budget and a per-dealer cap are set, and the offer closes itself when the quota runs out.

  6. Stacking Priority

You decide whether the promotion runs alongside the account rate or replaces it, and where it sits in the calculation order.

  7. Conflict Check

Before it is switched on, the offer is checked against the campaigns and account rates already running, with the expected budget burn shown alongside.

  8. Publishing

The offer opens itself on the day and hour you picked and shuts when the window runs out, with nobody having to remember. Last year's setup copies across as a template and runs again on new dates.

  9. Dealer Visibility

Products in an offer carry a badge in the catalog and gather on a promotions page and the banner that greets the dealer at sign-in.

  10. Progress to Next Tier

How far the basket sits from the next tier stays on screen the whole time, so the dealer never has to work out for themselves what a few more cases would be worth.

  11. Applied to the Order

On confirmation the promotion code and any free-goods lines travel to the ERP with the order and stay identifiable on the invoice.

  12. Campaign Analysis

When the window closes marketing asks the only question worth asking: did the offer bring in volume that would not have come, or did it discount orders that were coming anyway?
